TESTIMONIALS

You came to my daughters house today and spent time with her little dog Puggle. I was left speechless to what you did with him in the time you was there. He is so nerves with people and I just feel that after today it can only get better. I can't thank you enough and I feel like it can only get better. So worth it's money and thank you. We look forward to seeing you in your class on Saturday

Thanks for coming out today and helping me with Baloo with your advice and help I think he is going to come on leaps and bound and I can look forward to happy walks with a well behaved boy x thanks again x Andrea

We had Steve round today to help with puppy training for our 16 week old Cocker Spaniel i am so pleased i rung him he was really helpful and full of useful information cant wait to go to his puppy classes thanks Steve.

Thanks for your help today, I feel much more confident and calm about Harvey, and sooo glad we didn't give up! I'm very proud of what he's learned today, we've showed everyone what a clever boy he is, he's just a little misunderstood.

Steve came out to see, me my husband, and our two German shepherds, within minutes we were put at our ease, a trainer that speaks our language lol, my dog is reactive towards others, well off we went for a walk, Steve explained everything he could see, corrected it, and well wow, she behaved, I felt confident, great first meeting, starting lessons tomorrow can't wait, we would recommend Steve every day of the week, and trust me I've carted my girl to every sort of training there is David and Lisa Godley

Thanks Steve

Steve has been round today to show us how to go on with our labrador dog,hes helped with his unfriendly behaviour to other dogs and his pulling on lead. I cant believe how within 5 minutes he had my dog doing as he was told. Steves even had him walking off the lead which we have never dared do before.got lots of tips and learning to do now so he can be good for us. Well impressed. Thank you steve. X

Steve came to our house today to spend some time with us and our 13 week old black labrador. We don't have any major issues but we wanted some guidance with basic training as this is our first puppy and we want to make sure we are doing the right thing. Steve was fantastic and helped us to see things from our puppy's perspective. We now realise that we should be in charge and not the puppy!!! We have some areas to work on but I know that having Steve to come and visit every few weeks and some work from us will ensure we will have an amazing family dog...thank you Steve

Hi Steve thanks for Maia's training on Saturday morning I did think ud met ur match at first but should have known better Steve 1 - Maia 0. Next recall training can she even the score? Lol

I highly recommend Steve's Dog Training... as much as its me with the faults not the dog but i now understand the hows n whys tess does what she does... I don't have many problems with her, she's a staffy i adopted from Sheffield city kennels in July, she knew her basic commands and was extremely good just very giddy, over the last 6 months she's clearly found her feet and her giddiness has gone through the roof! I've no major problem with her but lots of little bits, pulls a bit on lead, won't listen when she's giddy, doesn't beg or scrounge but if you leave the room you loose anything edible, and jumping up.

Steve came yesterday afternoon... today i've been able to open the front door without locking her in kitchen, leave a biscuit on the sofa whilst i went to get ready for bed and the biggest problem is jumping up especially when visitors come... barely happened and soon stopped when she tried her luck (3 times i had someone come through my front door) :0)

A bit of lead/walk (8 step as advised by steve) training and she'll soon be the most perfectly behaved dog :0) - i will report back on this in a week or so but i have no doubt at all that it works!

My new lady Fern!

Having now made herself at home, she is comming out of her shell a little pensive at first sure she had been mistreated before her life was saved by the wonderful folks at Rain Rescue Rotherham.

We met an amzing guy yesterday called Steve of "Steve's Dog Training" (Should actually be called Steve's People Training!!). Having had dogs since Swap Shop was on the telly (kids ask ur folks lol) I thought I had dogs pretty well sussed, but having spent a very enlightening hour with Steve my opinion very quickly changed, I simply did not realise how sensitive dogs are at picking up what you transmit down the lead, sounds daft but its so true!! Cant wait for our next session at Rain where Fern gets to meet and socialise with other dogs!

If your thinking of getting a cat or dog, please please consider a rescue animal, what they give back simply cant be put into words :-)

Can't believe the difference one lesson has made.  Meg is like a different dog, she even lay in her bed whilst we had Sunday lunch instead of begging at the table!!  Can't praise you enough. THANK YOU. :)

Another great dog (well me really) training session with Steve.  Meg now walks to heel, sits, retrieves a ball and responds to the whistle. Oh, and doesn't run off every time she sees anther dog.  Excellent progress. Next step stay and off

Following an appeal  for help with training our 12 month old Schnauzer, we had a one-on-one training session with Steve today, which I've got to say went far better than we could have hoped for. Steve was only with us for an hour and that's all the time he needed to show us what WE were doing wrong! So now we know what we need to do and if we stick to what he told us we shouldn't need to have him back again either.

Steve's a top bloke and I'd like to say that for whatever problem anybody might have with their dog I would definitely recommend giving him a try. I wish we'd have known about him before we wasted 2 months at puppy classes where the only thing our gentle little pal learned was how to fight back against aggressive dogs he was put with!

Steve has been to my home today and met my 2 boxers.  He spent time with my hubby and me and had my eldest boxer walking lovely by the time he left.  We will definitely keep up the work.  Thank you.

Well Steve came out to see us yesterday and showed me how to work with Digby. He had him on a lead walking as quiet as a lamb and recommended a change in leads, which I am going to purchase tomorrow. Steve was with us for a good while and his methods made sense, he left us with some info to read so that we understand what we are doing and can be consistent. I would definitely recommend him

Steve came out to see us yesterday.  He was supposed to be here for an hour but was here much longer. We have 3 Shih Tzu's, the eldest one causes us no problems, the middle one has issues and the youngest is picking up the bad habits of the middle one. Steve came and helped us with Bella the middle one.  He showed us how to calm her anxietyand how to handle her when shes out walking. He left us with literature to read and things to follow which we will do. Bella actually seemed calmer all day yesterday so I'll keep you posted how it goes. Thank you so much Steve.  The retraining of Chris my husband is going well too!

Well we had Steve, the dog trainer round yesterday. Not cos Bailey is badly behaved. Far from it, he's nicest dog I've ever met. But my partner has never had a dog before and I thought it would be good idea to make sure we were both doing same thing in same way. So apart from trying to persuade dog that car is a good place to be, all is well. Steve is nice and I found it reassuring that I was doing all right things and my partner got to hear it from someone else too. We got some good tips as well, to do with all sorts of bits, so thanks Steve.

We've had Steve visit today and all I can say is wow.  I have had dogs all my life but never realised just how little I knew about dogs.  I have an 8 week old Rotterman bitch, who is also part Raptor, but 15 mins with Steve, she was sitting nicely, not even attempting to use his fingers as a chew toy, not jumping up but still happily playing.  Also I must add that he doesn't make a point in telling you what your doing wrong (i know some seem to take great pleasure in telling you what a bad owner you are) but rather then telling you he gets you to realise yourself what you have done wrong. All I can say is I'm looking forward to putting his advice into practice and look forward to showing him how well we are doing when we are ready for our next phase. So I can honestly highly recommend Steve as a professional dog/dog owner trainer.

Thanks Steve! Dee
